tHANKSGIVING hOUSTON
sUPERFEAST

The Common Source was a major sponsor at the Thanksgiving Houston Superfeast on November 27, 2008. Shannon Reed, TCS Chief Operations Officer, was actively involved on the organization committee. The TCS staff wa s very excited to have the opportunity to volunteer at this event which served between 17,000 and 22,000 people. Houstonians enjoyed a free Thanksgiving Day meal thanks to the generosity of others. The Superfeast was originally set up for the homeless and less fortunate. Anyone who was in need of a place to spend Thanksgiving Day was welcomed at this Thanksgiving feast. Officials said the Superfeast served 8,500 pounds of turkey, 4,000 pounds of dressing, 400 gallons of gravy, 4,000 pounds of whole cranberries, 4,000 pounds of green beans, 4,000 pounds of corn, more than 24,000 servings of cakes and pies.

Houston Business Journal- The Common Source, a member of the Woman’s Business Enterprise Alliance, was recognized by the Houston Business Journal as being in the Top 50 Fastest Growing Woman-owned Businesses in Houston for three years running. The top 50 companies were honored by Houston Business Journal, Wells Fargo, CBeyond, AETNA, Sam's Club, WBEA, NAWBO and Fox 26 News at the "Fastest Growing Woman-Owned Businesses Awards Ceremony” on Friday, August 22, 2008.

Major donation check presented - On Wednesday, August 8, 2007, Ann Zdansky, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Common Source Incorporated presented a major donation in the amount of $10,643.02 to Tim Miller, founder of Texas EquuSearch at the Houston Corporate Paralegal Association’s (‘HCPA”) monthly luncheon.
